What is the label Green America ?
Green America is a nonprofit association created in 1982, named CO-op America until January 2009. The mission is to harness economic power, the strength of consumers, investors, business, and markets to create a socially and environmentally acceptable society.

We target on economic strategies, economic actions to resolve social and ecological issues.
We mobilize people in their economic role as consumers, workers, investors, business leader.
We enable people to take personal and collective actions.
We are working on liability issues of social and environmental justice. We see these issues linked in the quest for a sustainable world. This is what we mean when we say "Green".
We continue to stop abusive practices and to create sustainable development, fair and suitable practices.
